Uganda Agriculture Shows

Northern Uganda was greatly affected by insurgency for many years, since the restoring of Peace, as communities continue to reorganize to enable enhanced livelihoods. Agriculture remains the most direct bullet intervention in ensuring development. The Northern Uganda Agriculture show, seeks to track and showcase efforts made in the region as well disseminate transformative technologies. The Show will take place in Gulu district starting 28THJune to 3RD July 2022. This show aims at tracking progress of reconstruction of livelihoods in the region after 20 years of insurgency, the show will be an interaction platform for innovation and knowledge dissemination for youth and small holder farmers in the region. This Show is expected to attract thousands of visitors; it is set to be the largest and a game changer Agricultural Show in the Region.

The Northern Uganda Agricultural Show is organized by Prime agriculture Events in partnership with a consortium of organizations that play a key role in agriculture extension, these include Gulu University, Uganda forum for agriculture advisory services, UNCDF and many others. The show theme is: Unlocking Agriculture innovation, Technology and agribusiness for Livelihood Reconstruction”

This theme will guide all actions of the stakeholders while conducting the show. The promoters utilize the theme to mobilize stakeholders and also explore new paths for innovation, present Agricultural Research, agriculture technologies, exchange information on new production innovations and showcase new technologies and equipment.

The show is always designed as a learning platform as well as a center for showcasing, the latest Innovations and Technologies in the Agriculture sector. The Opening will be presided over by the Hon Minister of Agriculture.
